When beams of light strike the spinning circular mesh sculpture, twelve individuals appear walking. They are comprised of different ages, genders, races, and were recorded by Goto at street crossings, in various countries. The motion of their gait was printed out as 3D prints. What emerges is a group of 12 people moving towards something. ”CROSSING #03” evokes emotional movement and invites the viewer to contemplate the inner movement, of intention and emotion, which is the source of our physical movement.
