In the darkness, twenty-four rotating forms are scattered through the space. Each catches the light, raising the silhouette of a walking figure—pedestrians recorded at crossings around the world, still walking there. Some steps move forward, others in different directions. Passing, crossing, changing places, countless walks move on at once within the same space.

This work began in a time when movement was brought to a halt. Even so, people try to move. Viewers find themselves walking among the forms—pausing, moving on, crossing paths with someone else's steps. Before they know it, their own walking is part of the crossing.
