"Wish -Venus of Jomon-" is a joint work with the Japanese national treasure Venus of Jomon, which is Japan's oldest national treasure and was made by the Jomon people who lived in Japan about 5,000 years ago. The story goes that Venus of Jomon is a pregnant woman, and she  wishes for the safe birth of a child.

For this work, Goto used 3-D scan data to output a three-dimensional object of the same shape and size as this clay figure. When a moving beam of light hits the object, the figure of a baby in motion emerges within.
